  IF Staining of HT-29 using CL488-19851

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HT-29 cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 TMEM173/STING antibody (CL488-19851) at dilution of 1:200.

• 

  IF Staining of HepG2 using CL488-19851

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HepG2 cells using CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated TMEM173 antibody (CL488-19851) at dilution of 1:400.

• 

  FC experiment of HepG2 using CL488-19851

  1X10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human TMEM173/STING (CL488-19851) (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Hintergrundinformationen

Stimulator of interferon genes (STING, also known as ERIS, MITA and MPYS, and encoded by TMEM173) is a transmembrane adaptor protein that facilitates innate immune signaling (PMID: 18724357). STING is widely expressed in various cell types such as endothelial cells, epithelial cells, T cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells (PMID: 26603901). It is predominantly located in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). STING functions as a sensor of cytosolic DNA and promotes the production of type I interferons and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
