  IF Staining of HepG2 using 83262-2-RR

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HepG2 cells using DGAT2 antibody (83262-2-RR, Clone: 240171C6 ) at dilution of 1:150 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2).

• 

  FC experiment of HeLa using 83262-2-RR

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Dgat2 Recombinant Antibody (83262-2-RR, Clone:240171C6) and APC-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2) is an integral membrane protein and major enzyme that catalyzes the final step of triacylglycerol (TG) synthesis in eukaryotes (PMID: 21680734). DGAT2 is present in mitochondria-associated membranes, specialized domains of the ER that are highly enriched in lipid synthetic enzymes (PMID: 19049983). DGAT2 isoforms (39 kDa, 44kDa) have major differences in acyl-CoA substrate specificity toward erucoyl-CoA.
