  FC experiment of HeLa using 82887-1-RR

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug E2F7 Recombinant antibody (82887-1-RR, Clone:230073C2) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 82887-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 82887-1-RR against Human E2F7 were performed. The affinity constant is 31.3 nM.

E2F7 also named as E2F transcription factor 7 is a 911 amino acid protein, which belongs to the E2F/DP family. E2F7 localizes in the nucleus and mainly forms homodimers and, to a lesser extent, heterodimers with E2F8. E2F7 as a transcription factor involves in various processes such as angiogenesis, polyploidization of specialized cells and DNA damage response. E2F7 mainly forms homodimers and to a lesser extent, heterodimers with E2F8. (PMID: 18194653 )

We tested this E2F7 antibody (82887-1-RR) in U2OS wild-type and E2F7 knockout cells at different dilutions. We observed the same nuclear signal in both WT and KO cells, suggesting that the detected signal is nonspecific.
