  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed mouse small intestine tissue using CoraLite® Plus 488 FABP1 antibody (CL488-68227, Clone: 1B6C8 ) at dilution of 1:200.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using CL488-68227

  1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated FABP1 Monoclonal antibody (CL488-68227, Clone:1B6C8)(red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (1F8D3) (CL488-66360-1, Clone: 1F8D3) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Informations générales

FABP1, liver fatty acid-binding protein, is abundant in cytoplasm that regulates lipid transport and metabolism. It plays a role in lipoprotein-mediated cholesterol uptake in hepatocytes (PMID:25732850). FABP1 is mainly expressed in hepatocytes, enterocytes and to a lesser degree in renal tubular cells, associated with liver injury (PMID: 15653098). Levels of FABP1 was elevated in patients with hepatocyte injury secondary to alcohol or drug toxicity (PMID: 14563446).
