Informations générales

Mitogen-activated protein kinase 2-associated protein 1 (MAPKAP1) is also named as MIP1 and SIN1. SIN1/MAPKAP1 is a major partner of mTORC2, acting as a scaffold and responsible for the substrate specificity of the mTOR catalytic subunit (PMID: 37877351). Besides as a component of MTORC2, MAPKAP1 also functions as MEKK2 and Ras-interacting protein and involves in regulating MEKK2 activation and RAS signaling (PMID: 31773361).
