Informations générales
Cyclophilin B (CYPB) , also named as PPIB, SCYLP, PPIase B and CYP-S1, belongs to the cyclophilin-type PPIase family and PPIase B subfamily. PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. PPIB is secreted in biological fluids such as blood or milk and binds to a specific receptor present on the human lymphoblastic cell line Jurkat and on human peripheral blood lymphocytes. The full-length of PPIB has 216aa (24 kDa), and a 33aa-signal peptide could be removed in the matrue form (about 19 kDa).

The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
FH Ganesh (Verified Customer) (02-07-2024) | Whole cell extracts of HAP1 (human) cells were resolved on a 4-12% Bis-Tris Gel and proteins were transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane. Membrane was incubated overnight at 4 deg C with cyclophilin antibody (diluted in 5% Milk in TBS-T). I used this antibody as a loading control in this experiment. The signal was very quick on a film using regular ECL substrate.
