  FC experiment of A431 using 83187-3-RR

  1x10^6 A431 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug SMC6 Recombinant antibody (83187-3-RR, Clone:240015F4) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug rabbit IgG isotype control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83187-3-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83187-3-RR against Human SMC6 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.428 nM.

Informations générales

SMC6 (Structural maintenance of chromosomes protein 6) is core component of the SMC5-SMC6 complex that is involved in DNA double-strand breaks by homologous recombination. The complex may promote sister chromatid homologous recombination by recruiting the SMC1-SMC3 cohesin complex to double-strand breaks. The complex is required for telomere maintenance via recombination in ALT (alternative lengthening of telomeres) cell lines and mediates sumoylation of shelterin complex (telosome) components which is proposed to lead to shelterin complex disassembly in ALT-associated PML bodies (APBs) (PMID: 26983541).
