Informations générales

Telomeres are nucleoprotein complexes located at chromosome ends that consist of tandem arrays of TTAGGG repeats bound to specific proteins. Telomeres protect chromosome ends from degradation and end-to-end fusions, prevent activation of DNA damage checkpoints, and modulate the maintenance of telomeric DNA by telomerase. TERF1 (telomeric repeat-binding factor 1) binds the telomeric double-stranded TTAGGG repeat and negatively regulates telomere length. It's one component of the shelterin complex, which involved in the regulation of telomere length and protection.

Antibody works really well at a 1:250 - 500 dilution for ICC imaging of 2D and 3D cardiac cells with secondary Alexa Flour antibody at 1:400 - 500 and DAPI for both human and mouse specific cells. Works really well at 1:1000 concentration in western blot for overnight incubation followed by 1:300 secondary antibody incubation for 1 hour for human and mouse tissue.

  • Primary Antibody Dilution: 1:250 for ICC and 1:1000 for WB
