  JunD antibody (pAb) tested by ChIP-Seq Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) was performed using the ChIP-IT High Sensitivity Kit (Cat. No. 53040) with 30 ug of chromatin from human endometrial stromal cell chromatin and 4 ug of JunD antibody. ChIP DNA was sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq and 8.6 million sequence tags were mapped to identify JunD binding sites on chromosome 16.   JunD antibody (pAb) tested by Immunoprecipitation. 10 ul of JunD antibody was used to immunoprecipitate JunD from 250 ug of K562 nuclear cell extract (lane 2). 10 ul of rabbit IgG was used as a negative control (lane 1). The immunoprecipitated protein was detected by Western blotting using the JunD antibody at a dilution of 1:1,000.

Background Information

JunD (Jun D proto-oncogene) is a member of the JUN family and forms a component of the AP-1 transcription factor complex. JunD binds DNA as a dimer. Other AP-1 family members consist of c-Fos, Fra-1, Fra-2, FosB, c-Jun, and JunD.
