Full-time (40 hours/week) | Location: Martinsried, Germany

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloning of antibody libraries
  • Planning and implementation of antibody selections using phage display
  • Planning and implementation of high-throughput screenings, e.g. using ELISA, flow
    cytometry
  • Generation of stable mammalian cell lines
  • Characterisation of antibody fragments using protein biochemical, immunological and
    cell biological methods.
  • Participate in the development of laboratory reagents based on nanobodies.
  • Document data, perform data analysis, and summarize experimental results
  • Present data at internal and external meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with research groups at companies, universities, and CROs.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • PhD in the field of biochemistry, chemistry, or similar.
  • Preferably relevant work experience in the biotech sector or pharmaceutical industry.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of phage display, molecular biology, immunology and cell biology.
  • Experience with high-throughput screening methods
  • Eagerness to acquire new skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Structured and responsible way of working.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German and English).
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications, molecular biology and sequence analysis
    software and ideally in statistical tools such as GraphPad Prism.
