The successful candidate will support the development and optimization of processes that produce cytokines and growth factors.   These proteins will be used in cell therapy and stem cell research.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Maintain various cell lines for multiple projects
•       Expand cell lines for production
•       Work in a team environment with senior scientists and production scientists
•       Some other functions include: production and testing of Research Cell Banks transfection or infection of cells, DOEs, process scale up
•       QC testing including endotoxin and western blots

Preferred Education/Experience:

•       Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization (molecular biology, Cell Biology, biochemistry, or related life sciences)
•       New grads with lab experience are encouraged to apply
•       Laboratory experience
•       Preferred: hands on experience with cell culture, transfection, familiar with protein purification

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

•       Aseptic Technique
•       Good lab practice
•       Working knowledge of modern laboratory procedures
•       Must have excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
