Scientist III - Flow Cytometry

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced researcher to join a team focused on developing antibodies and dyes for flow cytometry applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating antibodies in flow cytometry. They will have demonstrable experience with Flow cytometry methods and applications including multiplexing; experience with more than one flow platform and software tools is desired. A strong scientific grounding in Cell Biology and Immunology is required along with experience in cell culture and good laboratory technique. Data analysis skills, the ability to prepare written reports, scientific communication, and the ability to work productively and collaboratively within a tight-knit team are key assets for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate antibodies in Flow Cytometry application.
• Plan for and prepare cells required for antibody validation.
• Perform data analysis and summarize experimental results in reports.
• Organize, record, and maintain experimental data.
• Ensure proper operation and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline with 5+ years of experience or a Masters with 3+ years of experience or a PhD.
• Strong scientific grounding in Cell Biology and Immunology is required.
• Demonstratable experience in flow cytometry methods and applications including multiplexing.
• Experience with more than one flow platform and software tools is desired.
• Cell culture experience and good lab technique are required.

• Must have excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Highly motivated, willingness to acquire new skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work productively and collaboratively within a tight-knit team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, statistical tools etc.
