  WB analysis of L02 using 17316-1-AP (same clone as 17316-1-PBS)

  L02 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 17316-1-AP (ACOT4 antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 17316-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 17316-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

ACOT4, also known as PET2B and PTEIB, is an acyl-CoA thioesterases which catalyze the hydrolysis of acyl-CoAs to the free fatty acid and coenzyme A (CoASH), regulating their respective intracellular levels. ACOT4 has the strongest expression in liver and kidney and weaker expression in placenta, heart, and muscle(PMID: 16940157).
