  WB analysis of HUVEC using 87023-4-RR (same clone as 87023-4-PBS)

  HUVEC cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 87023-4-RR (BMX antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 87023-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity of 87023-4-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 87023-4-RR against Human BMX were performed. The affinity constant is 2.66 nM.

Background Information

BMX (Bone marrow kinase on chromosome X) is a cytosolic tyrosine kinase and a member of the TEC kinase family. BMX is expressed in hematopoietic cells of the myeloid lineage where it participates in the immune response. Moreover, BMX is expressed in several types of cancers and very recently has been shown to mediate the survival and tumorigenicity of glioblastoma cancer stem cells (PMID: 22449076).
