Background Information
CYP4F12 belongs to the cytochrome P450 family. Cytochromes P450 are a group of heme-thiolate monooxygenases. CYP4F12 catalyzes leukotriene B4 omega-hydroxylation and arachidonic acid omega-hydroxylation but with an activity much lower than that of CYP4F2. It catalyzes the hydroxylation of the antihistamine ebastine. This antibody is specific to CYP4F12. It has no cross reaction to other CYP4F member.
