Background Information

DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C25 (DNAJC25), which belongs to the HSP40 subfamily C, is localized to the cytoplasm. DNAJC25 had a markedly high expression level in liver tissues and was significantly downregulated in liver cancer tissues compared with the adjacent normal tissues (PMID: 23205125).
