Background
Cell surface glycoprotein CD200 receptor 1 (CD200R1), also named as CD200R, CRTR2, MOX2R and OX2R, belongs to the CD200R family. It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein containing two Ig-like domains in the extracellular region, a transmembrane and a cytoplasmic domain. CD200R1 is an inhibitory receptor for the CD200/OX2 cell surface glycoprotein. CD200 is expressed on a variety of cells of hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic origin, while CD200R1 is primarily expressed by myeloid and T cell lineage. The CD200-CD200R interaction plays a role in immunosuppression and suppression of anti-tumor immune responses.
