Reconstitution Briefly centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstitute at 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile water.
Storage Conditions
It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Until expiry date, -20℃ to -80℃ as lyophilized proteins.
  • 3 months, -20℃ to -80℃ under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Shipping The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the recommended temperature.

Background

CACHD1, or cache domain containing 1, is highly expressed in the mammalian central nervous system (CNS), with particular expression in the thalamus, hippocampus, and cerebellum. This protein is thought to be involved in the modulation of voltage-gated calcium channels, particularly the CaV3 (T-type) channels, which are important for regulating neuronal excitability. Cachd1 is also expressed in neuronal progenitors, functions downstream of asymmetric environmental signals, and influences timing of the normally asymmetric patterns of neurogenesis.
