  FC experiment of C57BL/6 bone marrow cells using 98505-5-RR

  1x10^6 C57BL/6 bone marrow cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse S100a9 Rabbit RecAb (98505-5-RR, Clone:250759F10), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) and CoraLite647-conjugated F(ab')2 Fragment Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (SA00014-7). Cells were then stained with FITC Plus Anti-Mouse Ly-6G/Ly-6C (Gr-1). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019).

  FC experiment of C57BL/6 bone marrow cells using 98505-5-RR

  1x10^6 C57BL/6 bone marrow cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse S100a9 Rabbit RecAb (98505-5-RR, Clone:250759F10)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9)(blue) and CoraLite647-conjugated F(ab')2 Fragment Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (SA00014-7). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019).

  Affinity of 98505-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98505-5-RR against Mouse S100A9 were performed. The affinity constant is 13.9 nM.

Background Information

S100A9 is a calcium binding protein as a member of the S100 family of proteins. S100 proteins are low molecular weight (9 to 14 kDa) intracellular calcium-binding proteins that control key cellular pathways including regulation of the cytoskeleton, cell migration and adhesion, and host oxidative defense. S100A9 may exist as a homodimer, heterodimer (24 kDa) with an S100A8 partner (S100A8/A9), or as a heterotetramer (28 kDa) with an S100A8 partner(S100A8/A9). S100A8 and S100A9 are found intracellularly in granulocytes, monocytes, and early differentiation stages of macrophages.
