Background Information

SFXN5 (Sideroflexin-5) is an astrocytic mitovesicle protein. In brown adipose tissue, it is key modulators of the widely studied thermogenic protein uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1). (PMID: 36334589, PMID: 35904699)
