Position Summary:
This position is to provide financial leadership to identify opportunities to drive efficiency within the global accounting and finance functions in addition to identifying strategic opportunities to better manage the company’s growth.
This position is office-based and reports to the CEO and works with all leaders in the organization. This position will lead a team of 5 people in the Rosemont office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day accounting function which includes payroll, sales tax returns, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Drive best-in-class financial close process and reporting practices across operating entities.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including multiple state sales tax returns.
- Provide support to the 3rd party tax accountants.
- Maintain a proper control environment to limit business risk and identify areas of savings for the company.
- Review and communicate monthly and quarterly financials to the leadership team.
- Establish a strategic plan and forecast process by partnering with the leadership team.
- Manage, retain and develop skilled accounting staff with hiring and training responsibilities
- Additional controller duties as necessary
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Accounting or Finance degree. 3-4 years public accounting experience and/or CPA a plus
- Accounting experience to effectively manage and review the work of a small team of accountants and to develop the accounting structure

- $160,000– $220,000 /year
- This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company and individual performance)
