We are seeking a skilled and experienced researcher to join a team focused on Bioconjugations flow cytometry and/or IHC

The successful candidate will be responsible for Bioconjugation of antibodies and other proteins to various dye, fluorochromes and enzymes, establishing processes for the same and testing the conjugated products in several applications including Flow cytometry and IHC.  Demonstrable experience with Bioconjugation methods, analysis and understanding of dyes and chemistry is desired.   Experience with cell culture and /or protein will be a significant asset. Strong data analysis skills, the ability to prepare written reports, scientific communication, and the ability to work productively and collaboratively within a tight-knit team are key for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  •       Strong scientific grounding in Bioconjugation, protein chemistry and applications
  •       Development of methods and conjugation of antibodies to various fluorochromes, dyes and enzymes
  •       Sound knowledge of flow cytometry techniques and related applications
  •       Experience with scaling conjugation methods is desirable
  •       Perform data analysis and summarize experimental results
  •       Cell culture experience
  •       Organize, record and maintain experimental data.
  •       Ensure proper operation and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  •       Train and develop junior scientists
  •       Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Preferred Education/Experience:

  •       PhD with 2-4 years relevant experience or Post-doc with 0-2 years experience. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  •       Must have excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  •       Highly motivated, willingness to acquire new skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  •       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •       Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, statistical tools etc.
