Background Information

Decoy TRAIL receptor 1 (DcTRAILR1), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 23 (TNFRSF23), is a GPI-anchored mouse TNF receptor superfamily member that lacks a cytoplasmic death domain. It is a decoy TRAIL receptor that can block TRAIL-induced apoptosis (PMID: 12466268). It has been reported that upregulation of DcTRAILR1 can prolong the lifespan of tumor-associated neutrophils (PMID: 39558859; 38207030).
