• 

  WB analysis of human kidney using 83860-1-RR (same clone as 83860-1-PBS)

  human kidney tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83860-1-RR (FXYD2 antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83860-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 83860-1-RR (same clone as 83860-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug FXYD2 Recombinant antibody (83860-1-RR, Clone:240649C2) and APC-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83860-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83860-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83860-1-RR against Human FXYD2 were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

Background Information

FXYD2 (FXYD domain-containing ion transport regulator 2), also known as the gamma-subunit of the NaK-ATPase, belongs to the FXYD family which has been proposed to be the regulators of Na, K-ATPase function by lowering affinities of the system for potassium and sodium. The expression of FXYD2 is most abundant in kidney, while it is also detected in several other tissues like placenta, pancreas, and dorsal root ganglia (DRGs). Three splice variants of FXYD2 have been reported in mouse kidney, namely FXYD2 γa, -γb,and -γc. FXYD2 γa has been identified as a pancreatic beta cell-specific biomarker. This antibody can recognize all three isoforms of FXYD2.
