KE01048 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human ZFP36L2 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human ZFP36L2. The assay recognizes human ZFP36L2. An antibody specific for human ZFP36L2 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human ZFP36L2 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human ZFP36L2 is added to detect the captured human ZFP36L2 protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
ZFP36L2 (Zinc Finger Protein 36-Like 2) is an RNA-binding protein of the tristetraprolin (TTP) family, characterized by two CCCH-type zinc-finger domains that selectively bind AU-rich elements (AREs) within target mRNAs. Through recruitment of the CCR4-NOT deadenylase complex, ZFP36L2 promotes mRNA degradation, thereby exerting post-transcriptional control over genes involved in cell cycle progression, immune regulation, and hematopoietic differentiation. ZFP36L2 is expressed in diverse tissues, with notable roles in lymphoid development, T cell quiescence, and B cell maturation.
