  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 85900-1-RR (LAYN antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85900-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of mouse brain using 85900-1-RR (same clone as 85900-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 85900-1-RR (LAYN antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85900-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of A549 using 85900-1-RR (same clone as 85900-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed A549 cells using LAYN antibody (85900-1-RR, Clone: 250175B7 ) at dilution of 1:500 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85900-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 85900-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 85900-1-RR against Human LAYN were performed. The affinity constant is 7.21 nM.

Background Information

LAYN acts as a receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA) and is involved in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, movement, and signal transduction. In the context of cancer, LAYN has been identified as a prognostic biomarker. High expression of LAYN is associated with poor prognosis and increased immune cell infiltration in various cancers, such as colorectal cancer and gastric cancer. It may also play a role in T-cell exhaustion and the regulation of tumor-associated macrophages (PMID: 30761122).
