  1x10^6 HT-29 cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human MUC13 Rabbit RecAb (98683-1-RR, Clone:252211G3) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98683-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98683-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98683-1-RR against Human MUC13 were performed. The affinity constant is 3.39 nM.

Background Information

Mucins (MUC) are highly glycosylated proteins that are abundantly expressed in mammalian epithelial cells. Mucin 13 (MUC13) is a member of the transmembrane glycoprotein mucins, which are normally expressed in the large intestine, trachea, kidney, small intestine, and gastric epithelium (PMID: 22027689). MUC13 is involved in the tumorigenesis of multiple malignancies, including pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, renal cancer, and lung cancer (PMID: 22027689; PMID: 31427737; PMID: 28205224; PMID: 34966453).
