  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 87478-1-RR (PGK1 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  FC experiment of HeLa using 87478-1-RR

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug PGK1 Recombinant monoclonal antibody (87478-1-RR, Clone:252909A5) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019).

Background Information

PGK1, also known as PGKA, belongs to the phosphoglycerate kinase family. PGK1 is the first ATP-generating enzyme in glycolysis, which catalyzes the conversion of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate (1,3-BPG) to 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PG) and produces one molecule of ATP. PGK1 has other functions besides regulating glycolytic metabolism, including mediating autophagy initiation, DNA replication and repair in mammal cell nuclei (PMID: 31815035, PMID: 31911580).
