  PC-12 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 28079-1-AP (SCN1A antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 28079-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Sodium channel protein type 1 subunit alpha (SCN1A) is a multi-pass membrane protein that is crucial for generating and transmitting electrical signals in neurons, thereby contributing to the sensory perception of mechanically-induced pain (PMID: 14672992).
