  WB analysis using 86349-3-RR (same clone as 86349-3-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot using biotin-66031 (alpha Tubulin antibody) at a dilution of 1:10000 followed by 86349-3-RR (Biotin antibody) at a dilution of 1:10000 and HRP-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit lgG(H+L), incubated at 37℃ 1h. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86349-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Biotin, also called vitamin H or vitamin B7, is a water-soluble vitamin required by all organisms (PMID: 12055344). It serves as a necessary cofactor for enzymes involved in carboxylation reactions essential for gluconeogenesis, lipid metabolism, and amino acid catabolism (PMID: 38825069). Biotin is often used to label proteins and nucleic acids. This anti-biotin antibody can be used for detecting biotinylated molecules.
