  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 98364-2-RR (same clone as 98364-2-PBS)

  1x10^6 human PBMCs were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human IL-33 Rabbit RecAb (98364-2-RR, Clone:252156B10), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG. Cells were then stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Human CD19. Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98364-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

IL-33 is an IL-1 family cytokine and nuclear alarmin, is constitutively expressed in epithelial barrier tissues and human blood vessels. IL-33 is involved in the maturation of Th2 cells and the activation of mast cells, basophils, eosinophils and natural killer cells. It also acts as a chemoattractant for Th2 cells, and may function as an "alarmin", that amplifies immune responses during tissue injury.
