Background Information
Transmembrane protein 87A (TMEM87A) represents an evolutionarily conserved transmembrane protein. It is predominantly localized to the Golgi complex and involved in retrograde intracellular trafficking (PMID: 26157166). Moreover, TMEM87A has been identified to localize at the plasma membrane of melanoma cells and facilitate mechanoelectrical transduction. Furthermore, it is functionally characterized as an ion channel expressed in sensory neurons, which is responsible for mediating light touch sensory transduction (PMID: 32228863; 38422143).

FH Boyan (Verified Customer) (12-16-2021) | This antibody recognized a band around 60 kd, however, this band is not sensitive to deglycosylation. What's worse, this band also occurred in solo loading buffer.
