Technology Overview and Validation

Universal CAR detection reagents

A tool designed to detect a broad range of CAR constructs through precise recognition of the scFv linker region

Our CAR-Linker antibodies are engineered to recognize the CAR scFv linker region, enabling precise and universal detection of a broad range of CAR constructs. Unlike conventional antigen-specific detection reagents, this design allows reliable identification and quantification of CAR expression regardless of target specificity.

Built on an FcZero-engineered antibody backbone, it minimizes non-specific Fc receptor interactions, producing cleaner data, lower background, and greater assay confidence. Incorporating AccuBright™ site-specific labeling technology, the reagent ensures uniform conjugation, enhanced brightness, and superior reproducibility across flow cytometry and related immunoassays.

Target Specific CAR Detection Reagents

A tool engineered for precise and reliable target specific detection of CAR constructs in flow cytometry

The Target-Specific CAR Detection Reagent is purpose-built for flow cytometric detection and quantification of CAR-T cells. Featuring a native protein fused to a human IgG1 backbone, it enables direct, high-affinity binding to the target-binding region of CAR scFv, delivering clear and reproducible staining profiles that confirm both CAR expression and its interaction with the target.

Optimized for flow cytometry, the reagent provides precise discrimination between transduced and non-transduced cell populations, supporting both research and manufacturing quality control workflows. Consistent with the universal CAR-Linker reagent design, the target specific CAR Detection Reagent incorporates an FcZero-engineered backbone to minimize non-specific Fc receptor binding and utilizes AccuBright™ site-specific labeling for stable fluorescence and highly reproducible assay performance.

Feature Universal CAR detection reagent Target-Specific CAR Detection Reagent
Detection Scope Universal – detects CARs with linker across any target Specific – detects only CARs binding a particular antigen (e.g., CD19)
Detection type Antibody based detection targeting the linker Antigen based detection targeting the antigen binding region of the CAR
Cost/Workflow Efficiency Cost-effective – reduces need for multiple reagents, accelerates development More expensive – each new CAR design increases cost and validation burden
Use Cases Ideal for general CAR expression quantification, early process development, and cross-program analytics. Best for program-specific functional studies, target-binding confirmation, and potency assays.
