About the immunoprecipitation (IP) workshop
This practical Immunoprecipitation (IP) Workshop is designed for PhD students who want to learn about next-generation tools to obtain cleaner, more consistent IP results and speed up their post-IP Western Blotting workflow.
Immunoprecipitation (IP) is a laboratory technique used to purify and enrich specific proteins or protein complexes from a biological sample. It can be used to investigate protein presence, relative abundance, molecular weight, up- or downregulation, stability, post-translational modifications (PTMs), and protein–protein interactions. An IP experiment relies on the use of antibodies or nanobodies coupled to a bead matrix that specifically bind the protein of interest, allowing its selective isolation from the sample.
