Background Information
1A6/DRIM has been identified as UTP20, a small subunit processome component, functioning in 18S rRNA processing. 1A6/DRIM was originally identified from the malignant derivative of an immortalized gastric epithelial cell line [1] and was found to be down-regulated in metastatic breast cancer cells (PMID: 21151873, 17498821).

What published studies show
The 1A6/DRIM (UTP20) polyclonal antibody (Cat# 18830-1-AP) has 2 citations. They appear in Frontiers in Immunology (2025) and Cell Signaling (2026). Both studies used the antibody for Western blot in human samples. The research fields cover glioma—examining ribosome biogenesis gene signatures, prognosis, and immune landscape—and colon cancer, identifying HMMR as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target.
