Background Information
PAX6, a paired domain and homeodomain-containing transcription factor. Interaction with TRIM11 leads to ubiquitination of PAX6 and its proteasomal degradation. PAX6 is one of the earliest genes expressed in the eye field and considered a master control gene for retinal and eye development. PAX6 also regulates the development of the olfactory, central nervous systems, pituitary, and pancreas. PAX6 mutations can cause complex ocular disorders such as aniridia and Peter's anomaly.

The staining was performed under a 20x lens. The reviewer noted that while most immunostained cells colocalized with Pax6-positive cells, a few appeared not to colocalize. Raquel (Verified Customer) (07-12-2024) | Immunofluorescence analysis in cryostat sections of 4% PFA fixed human brain organoid derived from iPSCs with 67529-1-Ig PAX6 antibody at dilution of 1:100 (under 20x lens). Antigen retrieval with Citrate buffer 10mM pH6. Green:Pax6 ; Blue: DAPI. Although most of the 67529-1-Ig immunostained cells colocalize with Pax6 positive cells, few of them seem to not colocalize.
