The mean COX2/ Cyclooxygenase 2/ PTGS2 concentration was determined to be 13.84 ng/mL in unstimulated RAW264.7 cell extract based on a 1.1 mg/mL extract load and 6,427.43 ng/mL in LPS stimulated RAW264.7 cell extract based on a 3.2 mg/mL extract load.

The mean COX2/ Cyclooxygenase 2/ PTGS2 concentration was determined to be 13.01 ng/mL in A549 cell extract based on a 1.2 mg/mL extract load.

RAW 264.7 mouse monocyte/macrophage cells (3.5 x 106cells/mL) were cultured in DMEM supplemented with 8% fetal bovine serum, 2.5 mM L-glutamine, 100 U/mL penicillin, and 100 μg/mL streptomycin sulfate. Cells were cultured stimulated with 1 μg/mL LPS for 4 days. Aliquots of the cell culture supernates were removed and assayed for levels of COX2/ Cyclooxygenase 2/ PTGS2, and measured 1.9 ng/mL.
