Background Information
Proteins with a bric-à-brac, tramtrack, broad-complex/Poxvirus zinc fingers (BTB/POZ) domain are involved in a broad variety of biological processes, including DNA binding, organization of macromolecular structures and regulation of gene transcription [PMID:11959095]. BPOZ contains an N-terminal ankyrin repeat, a bipartite nuclear localization signal and two BTB/POZ domains. It may involve in the development processes [PMID:10891360]. ABTB1 exists various isoforms and range of molecular weight of isofoms is 45-54 kDa.
