  K-562 cells lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 31075-1-AP (ADAMTS14 antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 31075-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

The ADAMTS (a disintegrin-like and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs) is a family of extracellular metalloproteinases mediating diverse functions including matrix degradation, blood coagulation, and angiogenesis. The ADAMTS family constitutes a group of proteins composed of 19 enzymes and 7 ADAMTS-like proteins. ADAMTS14 possesses high similarity with ADAMTS2 and ADAMTS3 in sequence and domain composition (PMID: 11741898). The expression of ADAMTS14 is correlated with the occurrence and progression of colorectal cancer and oral squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 34856162; PMID: 32102222).
