  WB analysis using 81847-2-RR (same clone as 81847-2-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 81847-2-RR (AR-V7 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The PC-3 cell lysate and LNCaP cell lysate were used as negative controls. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 81847-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Androgen Receptor Splice Variant 7 (AR-V7) is a truncated, constitutively active isoform of the human androgen receptor (AR). The presence of the AR-V7 protein is highly correlated with clinical resistance to next-generation androgen receptor signaling inhibitors (ARSIs), such as enzalutamide and abiraterone.
