Background Information
ARIH1 (Ariadne-1 homolog) is a member of the Ariadne family of E3 ubiquitin ligases with a cognate E2 enzyme UBCH79,10,11. ARIH1 plays a role in protein translation regulation in response to DNA damage and to ubiquitinate EIF4E2 (PMID: 15236971, PMID: 1532592, PMID: 24076655, PMID: 27565346, PMID: 23707686). ARIH1 signaling promotes anti-tumor immunity by targeting PD-L1 for proteasomal degradation (PMID: 33879767).
