  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16330-1-AP (BTD antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 16330-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

BTD(Biotinidase) functions to recycle protein-bound biotin by cleaving biocytin (biotin-epsilon-lysine), a normal product of carboxylase degradation, resulting in regeneration of free biotin. BTD has also been shown to have biotinyl transferase activity.
