Background Information

C1orf123, also known as CZIB, is encoded by an open reading frame resulting from the splicing of 8 exons consisting of 160 amino acids. It has been identified as one of the human O-GlcNAc Transferase (OGT) interactors, suggesting that it is involved in post-translational modification (PMID: 24536041).
