• 

  WB analysis of PC-3 using 13675-1-AP

  PC-3 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 13675-1-AP (Calpain 11 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of mouse testis using 13675-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse testis tissue slide using 13675-1-AP (Calpain 11 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

• 

  IF Staining of PC-3 using 13675-1-AP

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20℃ Ethanol) fixed PC-3 cells using 13675-1-AP (Calpain 11 antibody) at dilution of 1:50 and Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Background Information

Calpains are a superfamily of related proteins, some of which have been shown to function as intracellular calcium-dependent cysteine proteases. Calpains consist of a variable large (80 kDa) subunit and an invariant small (30 kDa) subunit. The expression of calpain11 during spermatogenesis and its localization is spermatozoa suggest that it is involved in regulating calcium-dependent signal transduction events during meiosis and sperm functional processes(PMID:16541461). And the 110 kDa band protein may be regarded as a complex.
