Background Information

CCDC69 (Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 69), may act as a scaffold to regulate the recruitment and assembly of spindle midzone components, which is required for the localization of AURKB and PLK1 to the spindle midzone (PMID: 20962590). It is highly expressed in duodenum, esophagus, pancreas, prostate, salivary gland, thymus and urinary bladder. The molecular weight of CCDC69 is 34 kDa, and it has been reported that the protein has a molecular weight of 43kDa (PMID: 20962590).
