Background Information

CD296 (ART1) is a GPI-anchored ecto-ADP-ribosyltransferase that catalyzes extracellular mono-ADP-ribosylation of cell-surface proteins. By modifying integrins and other membrane-associated targets, ART1 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and inflammatory signaling.
