  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 98566-1-RR (same clone as 98566-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human CD73 Rabbit RecAb (98566-1-RR, Clone:251250H3) or Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9), and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG. Cells were then stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Human CD3 (OKT3) Mouse IgG2a Recombinant Antibody (CL647-65569, Clone: OKT3). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98566-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98566-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98566-1-RR against Human CD73 were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

Background Information

CD73, also known as ecto-5'-nucleotidase (5'-NT), is a 70-kDa, glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol-linked membrane-bound glycoprotein found in most tissues (PMID: 18404475; 20179192). CD73 is an ectoenzyme that catalyzes the dephosphorylation of AMP and other nucleoside monophosphates (PMID: 9553767). In the human immune system, CD73 is expressed on subsets of T and B cells, on germinal center follicular dendritic cells, and on thymic medullary reticular fibroblasts and epithelial cells (PMID: 2137649; 9553767). CD73 is highly expressed in many human solid tumors and is closely involved in cancer progression (PMID: 20179192).
