  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84234-5-RR (CD79b antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84234-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of human tonsillitis using 84234-5-RR (same clone as 84234-5-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsillitis tissue slide using 84234-5-RR (CD79b antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84234-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84234-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 84234-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 84234-5-RR against Human CD79b were performed. The affinity constant is 3.23 nM.

Background Information

CD79 molecule encompasses two transmembrane proteins, CD79a and CD79b, which form a disulfide-linked heterodimer and are members of the immunoglobulin (Ig) gene superfamily (PMID: 2033258; 1375264; 2304550). CD79b molecule (also known as B29, IGB, AGM6, and Igbeta) is expressed almost exclusively on B cells and B-cell neoplasms, influencing antigen internalization and increasing antigen presentation efficiency (PMID: 7552998). CD79b mutation could be a key biomarker for DLBCL disease progression (PMID: 36182550).
