  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 98094-2-RR (same clone as 98094-2-PBS)

  1x10^6 human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.15 ug Anti-Human CD97 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98094-2-RR, Clone: 241335D8) or Isotype Control and PE-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were co-stained with APC Anti-Human CD3 (OKT3) Mouse IgG2a Recombinant Antibody (APC-65569, Clone: OKT3). Cells were incubated with FC Receptor Block prior to staining. Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98094-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98094-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98094-2-RR against Human CD97 were performed. The affinity constant is 27.6 nM.

Background Information

CD97 is a member of the seven-trans-membrane subfamily of the class B G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) group of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) and is present on the surface of lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes, and smooth muscle, being a dimeric glycoprotein with a 75-90 kDa intracellular domain and a 28 kDa extracellular domain (PMID: 23969601). It plays a vital role in cell adhesion, migration, and cell connection regulation (PMID: 36464675). CD97 is expressed on T-cells, but rarely on B cells. CD97 might play key roles in cellular adhesion, through connections with other proteins of the cell surface and of the extracellular matrix (PMID: 32781778).
