Background Information

COPE (Coatomer Protein Complex Subunit Epsilon) is the ε subunit of the COPI complex, a cytoplasmic protein complex composed of seven subunits. It mediates vesicle transport between the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum by binding a double lysine motif, and is crucial for retrograde protein transport (from the Golgi apparatus to the endoplasmic reticulum). (PMID: 10469566; 24497546; 20674546)

What published studies show

The COPE Polyclonal antibody (Cat# 11457-1-AP) has 1 total citation. It appears in Science Advances (IF 13.9), in a study on the distinct roles of COPI proteins attenuated in cell senescence, using IP in human samples. The research field is cell senescence and vesicular transport, specifically involving the COPI coatomer protein complex and its role in retrograde Golgi-to-ER transport.
